“Tonight, we come together to celebrate the strength, creativity, and resilience of Delta’s local business community,” said Mayor George V. It thrives right here in our city, driven by passionate, determined local entrepreneurs.”

"Success belongs to those who stretch beyond convention. To those who turn uncertainty into opportunity. And to those who continue to challenge the ordinary to create something extraordinary," said Bob Manhas, Vice President of Customer Field Excellence with TELUS Business. "So keep daring. Keep experimenting. Keep choosing the unconventional path, because history shows us that it's always the bold ones who shape what comes next."

Altmaerker Deli was then announced as the🧨BOOM Award recipient and owner Sandra Till, her son Florian Till and fiancé Evelyn Roberge, and team member, Laven Rashid were invited to the podium to receive the award.

“I want to thank The Business Association for this great honour, and I especially want to thank my parents for the example they've set for me ... and for opportunities in the future," said Florian Till. "It's not only about our business, but also about all small businesses in Delta, because that's what it takes to build a community," he added.

”The Boom Award recognizes a Member who has consistently created UNMATCHED VALUE for their customers and who has done things DIFFERENTLY to satisfy what their customers really CARE about," said TBA vice president and CMO. Roy Osing. "Boom award winners are RESILIENT and adept at responding to UNEXPECTED challenges that come along their way," Roy added. "They are 'Plan B' Experts."
